As long as you believe that the God you seek is hidden up there in the sky,

As long as you believe that your salvation is to be found in religions, sects, gurus or others,

As long as you believe that you are too small to forgive yourself and that and only God can do so,

As long as you believe that your thoughts cannot change the world,

As long as you believe that we must forgive others rather than accept them as they are.

You are alone and a prisoner, my brother!

If you think a grain of sand is a part of the desert,

If you think the tree is the forest,

If you think the drop of water is called ocean,

If you think your thoughts affect the fate of the world,

If you think you are one with the whole,

If you believe that the God you seek is within you,
and that you, yourself, are God.

If you think you’re big enough to forgive yourself
and to accept the others,

Well, then, you have become humanity, the wind, the mountains and everything you desire:

You are free, my brother!
